Had a few minutes today so I thought I would catch up on the whacky world of the fatbastards.
So the winter is way too long and brutaly cold so keeping busy waiting for global warming. In the mean time some of us are tying some flys and we also went to our annual Granby Fly Fishing show. The same usual face and some new ones, the show was smaller than last year no rod displays so no new rods were shown. The Hooke booth was there and they are introducing their new fish porn movie tour “UNGAVA” at CINEMA BEAUBIEN in Montreal this March, thinking of getting tickets, however it’s on a weeknight so may be hard to go. So back to fly tying and getting ready for our trip to the Connecticut River this spring, also looking at the possibility of going back to Terrace, BC and the Skeena for some serious steelhead fishing. Just have to go around collecting & cashing in bottles to raise the money.

My daughter Valli is in Botswana after her 3 weeks in India. She’s working on her PhD studying wild dogs. It’s summer there and extremely hot, lucky her.
Forgot to mention that Anglers Roost or better know as the CLUB HOUSE closed it’s door this past August. Wye & Etsuko retired from the fly fishing retail business. Nice people, good fishers!
